Sad, sad, bank acount... for a What I Got Wednesday

Today I had plans to go to the beach. I even woke up early to prepare some little snackity snacks for myself and some out of town guests. Little did I know that the weather had other plans in mind. So, what did I do instead, you ask? What any eager teacher two weeks before school would do...
GO SHOPPING!

After hitting up the undisputed favorites, Target and Dollar Tree, to get some essentials, I decided to venture over to TJ Maxx where I found this bad boy for FOUR BUCKS!

Super excited to use it and now EVERYTHING will be circles. He he he....
Especially these, that I found at Technology Rocks. Seriously. It might be my new favorite place.

And then there was this... That will also have to be printed, framed and hung.

 Love them.

And while in my coffee induced shopping extravaganza I got two more pocket charts, more laminating sheets, and two of the most adorable little dotty lamps ever made. (These will be saved for the big reveal but I am kind of in love with them.)

Here's a side question: How do y'all have time to keep up with all of the blogs you follow? I love reading everyone's ideas and news but my laptop and I are starting to develop a relationship that dog and boy are both becoming envious of.

I would like to blame my blog addiction for this minor kitchen catastrophe but alas, I have no one to blame but my own genetic culinary discrepancies, or lack there of. Mind you, that this was my SECOND attempt of the evening on my avocado and tomato grilled cheese. What happened to the first? You don't even want to know, let's just say it was bad. What did I do? Sucked it up and it. Very crunchy. Maybe one day I will learn.

In the mean time, while I was ignoring the barks and growls from a not so neglected doggy, I found this! It is from Amber over at Adventures of a Third Grade Teacher. How cool would that be to attend? Too bad that I have already got Saturday plans :(

I will be back in my room tomorrow to work a little more and then I will be off to the outer banks for a last few days of relaxing before its back to work for real.
